Laura Cuevas
Born in Cuba, Laura and her family moved to Miami when she was 4 years old. Laura graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Materials Science and Engineering and pursued a Masters in Biomedical Engineering at University of Miami.
Once Laura had children, she decided to be a stay-at-home mom, but went back to work as a project manager after her youngest went to school. Laura comes to Vers with over 10 years experience as a project manager with her PMP® certification!
Laura is happily married with three amazing girls, and two young grandchildren. In her free time, Laura and her husband like to travel and remodel their home. Can you guess who the project manager is in the relationship when it comes to home renovations…?

Home Depot: Favorite Store. Because this is "How Doers Get More Done"... need I say more.
Plants: I am an avid plant collector. I do have a green thumb, at least for succulents. ;)
Favorite book: I reread this book every couple of years. It reminds me of the basics.
Power tool: It's a versatile tool that you'll find will often be your "go-to", all-purpose fix-it tool.
Leatherman Tool: Super versatile. Carry it everywhere. All black because it was a gift from my husband and he’s a designer. He says it’s the best looking one. ;)
3 Wick Candle: Because a home always needs to smell good, hence, high intensity, and have great music playing in the background…the vibe.
Travel: I love traveling to other countries and being exposed to different cultures. Last place we traveled was Peru where we hiked Machu Picchu. Next time you see me ask me about it.
