Ryan Corwin

Marketing Director

Ryan is a big believer in the power of story — especially the kind that moves people to act. With more than a decade of experience across higher education and nonprofit marketing, he’s spent his career helping organizations find their voice and share it with clarity and heart.

Before joining Vers, Ryan led marketing for regional health centers, independent schools, and community organizations — and ran his own creative agency along the way. He also holds a master’s degree in Strategic Communication from Regent University, and has spent years in the classroom as a professor and mentor, helping students turn curiosity into creative confidence. Whether he’s writing strategy, building content plans, or digging into the details of campaign performance, Ryan brings intention, empathy, and a deep love for good work done well.

He spends most of his time outside the office with his wife and two daughters — being active at the softball diamonds or the pool, watching movies (most often Pixar or anything with Jack Black), or listening to music (favorites include everything from emo to hip hop, depending on the mood).

Ball Cap - Wichita Wind Surge
I once heard it said that the area above the neck can only handle so many accessories. One accessory I almost always have on is a hat of some sort, and my favorite is my Wichita Wind Surge hat. Living close to the ball park, this is one of our family’s favorite pastimes. The cap might help with thinking. It might be a fashion choice. Either way, it’s keeping the greys in the hair hidden.

Headphones
I love people. And noise. And sometimes, I love the option to tune in to only specific noises. Headphones are always in my pocket if I’m out and about. Current favorites: Galaxy Buds FE.

Code118 Wallet

Honestly this thing is as much as a fidget for me as it is a slim, compact, card-reader safe carrying case for all my vital information and cards. I’d be lying if I said I don’t play with it more than it is serving its rightful purpose.

Demarini Bat
During the summers, playing *cough* seasoned adult softball is one of the things that keeps me fit…ish…sane, and social with friends and my wife. Our team was just a few big plays away from winning several games last season. The rest were great social outings.

Skateboard
One of the ways the fam tries to do fun things together, and something I’ve been doing since the days of being a wee little lad. Though my ankles may never forgive me, my spirit thanks me each time we are on a board.

School of Rock
Because there’s always time for a classic Jack Black film; with comedy, music history, and fun for the whole family.

Pilot G2 Pen
If I’m taking notes, which I do all the time to keep track of my life, I fancy myself as a bit of a pen connoisseur. And these are the best.
